Here at Ruby we continue to grow and now we’re looking for a Head Third Part Intermediaries (TPI) This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving Ruby Energy’s growth across Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs), brokers, and key external sales partners. The Head of Sales in TPI will define and execute the strategy to grow, optimise, and scale the indirect sales channel, ensuring strong commercial performance while embedding Ruby Energy’s mission, values, and long-term vision.
Reporting into the Growth & Revenue Director, this role owns the performance, capability, and governance of the TPI channel and leads the TPI Relationship Management team.
Important: This position is onsite in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire. Remote or hybrid working options are not available.

What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Deliver the TPI channel strategy in line with Ruby Energy’s overall growth, revenue objectives, and strategic direction.
- Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term plans to increase broker-led revenue, conversion, and retention.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise new TPI revenue opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market.
- Lead and scale the TPI and broker sales channel to deliver significant and sustainable B2B growth.
- Report to and work closely with the Growth & Revenue Director to forecast, track, and optimise TPI contribution to overall business performance.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the TPI Relationship Management team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality broker support, training, and performance review frameworks.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and values-led team culture.
Partner & Broker Leadership
- Build, nurture, and manage long-term strategic partnerships with key TPIs and brokers.
- Drive acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing performance management of indirect sales partners.
- Act as the senior escalation point for key broker relationships.
- Embed Ruby Energy’s proposition, service standards, and values across all partner touchpoints.
- Position Ruby Energy as the preferred renewable energy supplier for TPIs in the UK market.
Training, Capability & Enablement
- Oversee the design and delivery of training programmes for TPIs and internal teams.
- Ensure brokers remain up to date on products, propositions, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess capability gaps and implement targeted training plans to enhance knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Continuously evolve training methods, tools, and content. .
Revenue & Performance Analysis
- Own indirect sales performance targets, forecasting, reporting, and channel analytics.
- Work cross-functionally to measure, analyse, and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities.
- Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities within the TPI channel.
- Ensure robust goal setting and performance management across broker portfolios and locations.
Product, Process & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams to ensure partners have the tools, insights, and offers needed to succeed.
- Champion innovation and simplification in the partner journey, using technology to enhance ease of doing business.
- Support refinement of product propositions, sustainability offerings, and ROI-based energy solutions.
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the TPI channel.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all TPI activity complies with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Oversee broker onboarding, contractual governance, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Maintain strong understanding of integration processes, IT systems, and relevant industry standards. .
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior TPI, partnerships, or indirect sales leadership role within the B2B energy or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK TPI landscape, broker engagement models, and indirect sales best practices.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to execute at pace.
- Excellent communicator with exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, values-led organisation.
- Passion for clean energy, innovation, and creating win-win commercial partnerships.
