Materials Buyer

Imperial Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business within the packaging sector to recruit an experienced Packaging Procurement Manager.

This is a key role responsible for managing the procurement of packaging and printed materials, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, sustainability, and continuity of supply in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement of packaging and printed materials
• Develop and manage strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate contracts and deliver measurable cost savings
• Drive sustainable and innovative packaging solutions
• Manage forecasts and stock levels in collaboration with Planning and Production
• Support business growth through strategic sourcing

About You:

• Proven procurement experience within manufacturing or packaging
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Experience working with packaging materials and suppliers
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance is desirable
