The Role
As Materials Controller you will oversee material flow and quality from goods-in through to finished product. Working with supply chain, quality and production colleagues, you’ll help forecast material needs, maintain stock accuracy and support reliable delivery to customers.

As Materials Controller you will oversee material flow and quality from goods-in through to finished product. Working with supply chain, quality and production colleagues, you’ll help forecast material needs, maintain stock accuracy and support reliable delivery to customers.
Day to day duties for the Materials Coordinator include:
- Coordinating clear processes for goods inspection, outgoing goods and overall material flow.
- Analysing stock data and carry out regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, shortages and material quality issues.
- Leading or support continuous improvement work to strengthen data collection, traceability and opportunities for automation.
- Monitoring and maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, following FIFO principles.
- Coordinating the receiving, inspection and verification of incoming materials, and contribute to supplier quality improvement.

About You
The successful Material Coordinator will be/ have:
- Prior experience in stock control, inventory, supply chain in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable using inventory/ERP or WMS systems
- Training or experience in lean and continuous improvement would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
