Contract Administrator/Quantity Surveyor

Brown Recruitment have partnered with a well-established commercial construction contractor in Brisbane, Queensland who are seeking experienced UK professionals to join its growing team. We are seeking experienced Contract Administrators with an extensive career in the building construction space, who are looking to relocate to Queensland, Australia.

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in the financial and contractual management of projects, including:

• Preparation and administration of subcontract packages
• Letting and negotiation of subcontracts
• Assessment and processing of progress claims
• Variations management and cost reporting
• Procurement support and trade engagement
• Head contract administration
• Management of RFIs and contractual correspondence
• Assisting with budget forecasting and cost planning
• Ensuring contractual compliance and risk management

This role suits professionals who are detail-driven, commercially astute and confident managing subcontractor relationships.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in commercial construction
• Have come from a quantity surveying background managing contracts
• Have strong financial management capability
• Can confidently manage stakeholders, consultants and subcontractors
